…Favorite Things Friday – Seltzer Bottle

When possible go vintage. Check out these awesome seltzer bottles that can add color & interest to your kitchen.

Etsy is a great place to fine items like this as well as barn shows and flea markets. My personal favorites are the blue/green ones.

Curiosity Vintage on Etsy is selling them for $68 a bottle, which is not a bad price for something old & special.

I give you permission to decorate out of the box.

3 Days to the Home & Remodeling Show presentation. Chalk Paint demo and I’ll be giving away 4 cans of Paris Grey Annie Sloan Chalk Paint. Also, the winner of the 2 free tickets it Lorna Lee Orick! Email me offline and I’ll tell you how to pick them up! cbensten@blueeggbrownnest.com

…4ft dough bowl

My friend, Kristen, whom I met at Luckett’s Spring Market recently posted a picture of her amazing & very large dough bowl. I have one myself, but it wasn’t vintage and it was not big. So, my OCD took over and I went on a mad hunt for an extra large, extra old dough bowl. Check out what I found.

Jack pot!

Thanks for helping me clean my treasure (again), my Love.

Yes, of course you can ride in it like a wooden boat. Anytime.

I love a good treasure hunt.

…Favorite Things Friday – Helkat Design

Helkat Design is one of my most favorite shops on Etsy! I think I have about 6 pillows from Helkat. Helen lives in the UK and prints vintage English images on burlap pillows in all different shapes.

Check out some of the ones I’ve purchased for my own home:

Boxing rabbits

More boxing rabbits 🙂

Can’t get enough Union Jack! I actually own 3 of these pillows so I can enjoy one in each room.

Reasonably priced for a British treat!

While you are on Etsy, check out my new shop (http://www.etsy.com/people/cbensten). More on that next week once I’m a bit more organized!
