I think one of the top worst moments in life is putting your loved one in an ambulance to be rushed, sirens on to the hospital. This happened in our home Friday night when DH came home and collapsed. After a horrible ordeal, we are back home and processing what happened. DH is fine.
He actually did not remember much of the ambulance ride, but the IV going in and a question that one of the EMT guys asked, “Do you refinish furniture?” DH has no idea what his reply was, but in a stressful situation we were both able to laugh at this in the days following.
Not sure if the eight EMT guys saw my business cards in the shuffle or wondered why there was a 9ft church pew in my hallway that they were taking their patient’s vitals on. Maybe the paint on the driveway or the dresser in front of the bay waiting to be completed. Whatever it was, it was funny post episode.
I will be sure to let you know if I get an influx of EMT clients. For today, I think I am spent. Let’s look at a beautiful photo for some inspiration.

Thankful that your DH is okay. By the way, I looked for your stuff on Luvocracy and could not find your name. Are you no longer on it?
oh my goodness! It is a scary thing when your in the mist of an emergency, and when the calm happens it can be funny when you look back on the situation. I think it’s God’s, coping mechanism for us! Praying for you all.
