I can appreciate the irony of writing to you with a recommendation to put an object on the stairs, but my intent is to respond to your NEED for a stair basket!
Many of you have asked me where I found my “Go Upstairs Basket.” We’ve all seen them about, but it’s hard to find one that is very attractive, especially when you are just going to pile it high with clothes and books to bring upstairs.
I did find one similar to mine recently at Wisteria.
I’m not going to lie, looking at those wood steps gives me major anxiety. However, I do love my stair basket. Do I dare show you what mine looks like? We’re all friends here, right?

Dear Christen — saying this from a place of love and care. Maybe you could look for attractive stair runners? After your accident and some close calls on my own part, wooden stairs are giving me anxiety!
