Pumpkin Lovin’

I do love Fall. Whose with me? Apple pie, cool weather, bon fires, etc. I did minimal decorating this year. It’s not the easiest holiday to decorate for if you are not into the Halloween spooky stuff – which I’m not. But, pumpkins can be fun.

I used my black round foyer table first. It’s a great space for season decorating. All that wheat came from Anthropologie last year. I’ve seen it everywhere so if interested try Amazon first!

You may remember my velvet pumpkins. I still think they are pretty.

I found these adorable acorns at Target! The brand is Opal House. Too cute!

I found these cool lantern things that will be able to be used for ton of things. Two the Moon, my local gift shop sold them.

I found these cute dried flower at Anthropologie and put them in ceramic urns from Luckett’s. Birdie is not a fan.

We also took a ride out to Lucketts to check out their fall decor.

PS – Luckett’s will be doing their Holiday House if you want to check out buying tickets here.

My orange cats def work for Fall 🙂

I’m obsessed with this Danish Kringle from Trader Joes. Every season they carry a different flavor. This is…pumpkin! Grab a few and freeze they sell out fast!

Gram’s Vintage Ceramic Trees

I was the lucky grandchild that inherited Gram’s white ceramic Christmas trees. They remind me of the hours I spent putting in the colored lights at her home and bring such delight when I put them in my own home at Christmas time.

The large and medium trees were hers. During my decorating travels I found these same trees being sold at Michael’s along with replacement colored lights for $3.

Then I went over to Target and found the two little trees you see below. Dear Husband always knew they were special to me, but on a whim he decided to Google them to see if they had any value these days since they seem to be making a comeback.

“One vintage tree recently sold for $79 on eBay, another for $440, and another for a remarkable $649.” – Today.com

I will never sell, but I am glad they are valued.

Christmas Tablescape 2018

I think simple was the theme this year. Greens, silvers, whites, and glass. It felt right. Less is more this year.

My shopping was done on a total budget. Most of the items I purchased were from Target or Michael’s (our local craft store). You may recognize some of the greenery is from Hearth and Hand, Magnolia’s Target line. I also collected cloches and candle sticks from my own collection. The white nutcrackers were painted my moi. You can see that post here if you missed it.

I’m really in love with my name tags. I bought a little tea set from Decor Steals. It is a complete ceramic set with saucers, teapot and cream and sugar. I finally found the perfect use for them! Eeek!
