I heart when I run into readers in my home town. It’s so much fun and it happens all the time. Just ran into a gal, Ann, while buying paint the other day. She asked me a question about refinishing and I thought I would clarify.
Finding & Selling.
Blue Egg Brown Nest does refinish and sell pieces. I sell them quickly and restock sporadically. If I have something that I’ve just finished up I tend to post a picture of it on FB first. So, if you have not “Liked” Blue Egg Brown Nest’s page on FB do so to see updates, post in our paint conversations & view some amazing photographs from Pinterest that inspire me. I will also post the piece under “Shop Furniture”. I also sell “Vintage Finds”. I do prefer to have these items picked up as shipping takes extra time that this gal does not have a ton of!
Refinishing.
The majority of my work at the moment is refinishing projects for clients. If you have an older piece that you would like to be painted & refreshed then email me a photo and I will give you an estimate and schedule a drop off time. I do use a mover that can help move the piece and return it to you if you are not able to move the piece yourself. My turn around time is 2/3 weeks. At the time of drop off we discuss color and I can help direct you. If you are unsure, it helps to bring photos of the space that you are putting the piece in so we can discuss the best options. Picker.
If you happen to have any pieces that you think I would like or you would like off your hands, I do purchased interesting pieces from folks. Email me a photo and a price and I can pick up. I love when furniture comes to me!
Trust Me.
If you read my blog and see the images on my site, you know what I can give you. Trust me to distressed and age the piece as I see fit. One aged piece in your family room, mixed in among other newer pieces will just look interesting and lovely. Promise. I know what I’m doing.
