This is one of the pieces that Brent picked up from a Craigslist listing. It’s a little bedroom side table. I had painted in Old While & Paris Grey, but instead of waxing it I wanted to try to go back to the stain that I originally used on my kitchen chairs to see the difference. And there was a MAJOR difference.
First the before…
I didn’t take an in between picture, but this is what it looks like with the dark stain instead of the wax:
Ollie seems to like it! But, I’m still not sure it’s not too dark. I’m thinking I’m going to leave it to work on other pieces & if I have time before the Holiday Market on Nov 19th at Stifel & Capra I might repaint it. What do you think?
