My very favorite time of year is the Fall. I have such wonderful memories wrapped around the season, including my birthday, anniversary, the birth of 2 of my babies, my mom & sister’s bdays and of course car rides up to Keene, NH where the trees come alive in all the fall colors. There’s nothing like a red, covered bridge in autumn and Gram’s apple crisp in the oven. I know Heaven will smell this way.
Turns out that my love of all things vintage really works for a harvest/fall party.
Whenever I come across an metal olive bucket I have to get it. I use them from everything from old maps, to my desk trash can to buckets for beer & juice boxes!
Same goes for urns. Inside or outside there’s a million uses. I love these urns because they are transparent.
Vintage baguette basket. Perfect for mini pumpkins….and pine cones in winter.
Finally found a vintage French drying rack that I love. Don’t know what I did before I had one. Great interest piece as well as super practical.
Antique French Laundry Basket. I use it for hand towels in my kitchen, but can serve as a great storage spot for goodies!
Chicken wire flat basket.
And of course Pocahontas trailing a pony. We are pretty into Fall around here. Happy Autumn to you!
“Like” Blue Egg Brown Nest on Facebook because I post vintage finds like this all the time that I track down. And thank you for the 1,000 + readers that do follow me on FB! xoxo
FYI – Still working out the kinks on my logo watermark!
