I moved into Luckett’s this weekend. It started with hitching a trailer to my car and all the strong neighbors helping load it!
I felt good about my display and was hoping for a smooth morning, which it was!
We arrived about an hour later and it took only 20 minutes to set up with the help of those handy movers out there 🙂 Yes, Luckett’s has movers on staff of help load your car. Easy-peasy.
You will know you are there when you pass the Leesburg Outlets, drive past about three farm stands and come to a light with the iconic green house on the corner.
My space was cleared and ready for stuff. I’ve never seen a bare wall out there so it was kinda funny.
Oh, DH. A man of many talents, but most of all such hanging talent.
My neighbors and all the Luckett’s team are super nice and casual. Love that.
So, here we are. I am planning on posting images of pieces before I move them out there so you know what is coming.
It’s hard for me not to feel scared about being so…exposed. Baby steps, Christen. I needed a peach. 10 years ago we stopped at a farmer’s market on the way home from Luckett’s while I was in the throws of infertility treatments. Life was sad. We picked peaches and I remember eating the juciest, sweetest peach, windows down on a fall day and feeling a sense of calm. We stopped at the same farm market for a peach. It tasted like heaven.
This is me, an empty truck and my peach looking and feeling a little insecure.

Hello! I am so happy and excited for you! You have chosen to let creativity win over fear! That is a brave step 🙂 God is good! About a month ago I chose to do the same. Armed with a paint brush and a desire to paint pieces using ASCP, I filled out an application to have a space in an antique shop called Vintique Alley. It has so challenged me in every creative way! And like where you are at the vendors and the shop owner are the best! I am blessed to have my husband and kids encouraging me 100%!
