I wanted to put a bench on my revolving wall of consoles and looked at quite a few. Some short, some cane, some with backs, some without. Then I though all wood – a pew. No, a really, really long church pew! Of course it took me 6 months to finally find one.
Here’s what it looked like when my mover picked it up. It’s from the old Methodist Church in Alexandria in case it looks familiar 🙂
And here it is in my hallway. All 9 feet of her in French Linen!
I think it’s my favorite piece in the house at this point.
Of course I was on Rachel Ashwell’s site yesterday and guess what I saw under her unique pieces…that’s right.
