There is so little to get excited about in late February that when it’s Sunday night and the Oscars are on, I cannot help but get into the spirit. I turn the TV on about 4:00 to catch the full 3 hours of “Live from the Red Carpet”. For those of you that do not live in the US, this is a basically our chance to judge all the celebrities’ clothes and it is quite entertaining.
I love movies. I love movies so much – maybe not as much as books – but I love getting swept away in a story in time that I will probably never experience. I get so into a movie that it lingers with me for days until I am able to shake it off. Don’t get me started on how long it took to decompress from “Room.”
So, when one of my favorite actors chooses to wear a dress that looks like a fairy tale I love it. Cate Blanchett. She never disappoints. Hello, she was Queen Elizabeth.
Magic.
And a magical color. Let’s look at what Pinterest has to offer in this amazing color.
Blue egg. Seaglass. Dreamy. Fairy. Queen. Bliss. Fresh. Quiet. Water.

I too was blown away by this color. Just starting out with DIY Annie Sloan paints. I have lots of Shabby Chic furniture mostly white and more shabby than chic. Want to chic them up. I love your videos. What color would you call this? Does Annie have 1 comparable? Thank you!

Hello!
I loved her dress so very much…it was so beautiful! Thank you for sharing all those beautiful rooms, as well!….dreamy…Do you have any idea what the paint color was in the first room photo?…the one with the two white chairs and the white fireplace? It just blew me away…
Thanks, Diane
