In the spirit of the Race for the Cure coming up this Saturday, June 2, and showing support via the color pink, I had to make sure you all knew about “Antoinette”, Annie Sloan’s new color.
It’s pale & perfect. Soft like a kiss.
This is how Annie describes it: “Old fashioned roses and the colour of old plaster. This is a soft pale pink with a hint of brown in it so the pink is not too sweet.”
On a more serious side note, I can’t help but meditate on all the women that have gone through the devastation of breast cancer and try to learn from their perseverance, courage & strength. I think of one woman in particular as this disease strikes close to home and I hope she knows how her example of bravery makes me think of my own life with more perspective.
I love this quote from the blog, The Silver Pen, written by a breast cancer survivor.
Thinking pink.
Thanks for the shout out! I really appreciate it!

Love that color!!!!
This is a pink I could get very cozy with. I don’t “love” pink and find pink and breast cancer is getting “old” (I hate the pink washing that goes on in October — it makes me scream), but this is such a lovely shade. So from this breast cancer thriver…thanks for this one!
