I have been looking at appliques for a while now. I think they are a great way to elevate your piece to something a bit more details and fancy.

Love the look and I plan on using them more in the future. My new friends at Efex mailed me several samples to play with.
Efex makes latex appliques so they are bendy, stretch and easy to put on with contact cement.
I’m looking forward to experimenting with a few different designs. I’ve already started using them on a large, vintage armoire. I can already see a huge difference.

Hi Christen–I just bought two Efex appliques yesterday at a shop in Warrenton called The Empty Nest. I’m looking forward to putting them on a couple of pieces I have to paint. As you said, they can make a huge difference in the look of the finished product! The wreaths and swag look very grand on your armoire.
