Finding a piece of wall decor to put over your bed can be tricky. You don’t want to do something too big and clumsy or distracting. I think the perfect compromise is a small, even round mirror. It does not have to be pricey. In fact, I’ve seen many of the mirrors I’m referring to sold in the home section of Target. It’s just a little bit of sophistication without being overwelming.
Here are some examples via Pinterest of what I am referring to:
Little, small round. I think something over the bed is always a good idea, but you don’t want it too visually distracting. Here is the one I have in my bedroom. Of course, I have since painted it white, which I will discuss next week!
Here are some mirrors that I found just doing a simple Google search. Check out these Home Depot finds!
Home Depot Round Framed Wall Mirror
Small Antique Gold Leila Sunburst Mirror from World Market
Fleur Framed Mirror from Do and Bo
Convex Mirror from Ballard Designs
Round Sunburst Mirror from Wayfair
I think this is a super, simple and inexpensive solution in your bedroom. So, when you walk into your bedroom tonight consider taking whatever is hanging on the wall above your bed out of the room. Stare at your blank wall. Do you feel calmer? Ready for peace & sleep? Tomorrow morning look at the wall again and consider adding just a little something like this mirror idea. Less is more in this case.
