I was in Calico Corners this week and checked out a few samples, snipped a few swatches and got a few estimates. Once I got home and settled down from fabric overload, I realized I was not going to buy anything I looked at. Too pricey!
I’ve ordered many a time from Online Fabric Store. If you have purchased any of my chairs you have sat on fabric from this store – mostly burlap, muslin & a few lattice prints.
I wouldn’t say their prices are dirt cheap, but you can get a better deal than at a home fabric store like Calico. Sorry to say, Robert Allen is still a bundle a yard 🙁
Love these:
Braemore Gorgeous Pearl Fabric
Robert Allen Vintage Plumes Birch
Waverly Damask Duet Robins Egg Fabric
Portfolio Treads Lagoona Fabric
Portfolio Pop Flower Spa Fabric
Happy Friday! After camp drop off, I’m headed to Calico to return my samples.

So true about the cost of fabrics. I got lucky a few months ago and scored 7 yards of the Khanjali Glacier for a song on the remnant table at Hancock Fabrics in Alexandria. I’ve also had really good luck at the remnant table at G Street in Rockville, haven’t been to 7 corners in awhile but you may have some luck there. I’d also recommend signing up for G St emails, they send out coupons all the time.

My coder is trying to convince me to move to .net from PHP.
I have always disliked the idea because of the costs. But he’s tryiong none the less. I’ve been using WordPress on
several websites for about a year and am anxious about
switching to another platform. I have heard great things
about blogengine.net. Is there a way I can
import all my wordpress posts into it? Any kind of help would
be really appreciated!
