I threw a Christmas party for my dear, neighborhood mommy-friends and their husbands last year. I got so carried away with decorating that it kinda took on a life of it’s own and before I knew it it landed in Romantic Homes Magazine (a big thank you to Charlotte for her styling & writing.)
The magazine is coming out this month, but I did get a sneak preview.
At first it didn’t look like my home because I had not seen it so decorated since last Christmas. I normally don’t go crazy decorating for the holidays because I enjoy keeping out my favorite things all year round. But, transforming the house once a year can be a treat.
This year I will be hosting a little neighborhood tea. Excited to show you!
PS – Not sure what the cover of Romantic Homes looks like yet, but when I do I’ll let you know so you can look for it at your bookstore.

So exciting, Christen! I’m anxious to see it…so I can imagine how you’re feeling. I cannot wait to decorate for Christmas, even though it’s not even Thanksgiving. Think I may anyway. Happy Thanksgiving!

Picked up my copy at the grocery store this morning and couldn’t wait for some afternoon tea to savor each page. Your home is exquisite! I’ve followed your blog for about a year and love the photos you share of your home as well as your amazing painted furniture pieces. Decorated for the Christmas season, it is truly delightful. Congratulations and please keep sharing with us.
