…Favorite Things Friday – Santos Cage Doll

You might not know what that means by the title, but once you see a picture you may recognize her.

Yes, she makes the rounds. Kind of like the wood horse.

I saw my first Santos Doll at an old antique shop. Her skin was cracked, her head was bald and she had creepy hands.  Although it scared me a bit, there was something about her that really made a statement – in her own quiet way. I found this beauty at Laurie Anne’s Vintage Home online (as well as a few other treasures).

I found a great site that sells Santos Cage Doll as well as some really interesting crowns. Who doesn’t need a crown on their coffee table? Maybe with a few candles placed in the center?

Here’s a fantastic Santos Folk Doll for sale on their site:

Blue Egg Brown Nest will be showing at The Luckett’s Spring Market, May 19th & 20th from 10:00 – 5:00.
