When throwing any type of party I like to start with a color. Last year I decorated with classic greens, reds and golds. I used red cranberries, green burlap, gold Christmas balls and strings of beads.
Here are some pix from last year.
It was so much fun! This year I wanted to be a bit more playful and use the color that I have all over my home – turquoise.
I bought turquoise balls from Target, blue burlap ribbon and dug out all my blue ornaments. I also took out my Duck Egg Blue paint and paintbrush.
I painted a little serving table, birdcages and shutters.
I will show you the whole scene once I’m finished…..by Friday hopefully 🙂

Love the turquoise and duck egg blue Christmas decor. I started using blues and gold last year to coordinate with the colors in my house. I may even use gold chargers with blue and white dishes on the table this year. 🙂

Your decor form last year was beautiful. I am loving the idea of silver and turquoise! Everything you have painted looks so pretty. I am crushing over those birdcages, gorgeous!
