I feel the hot sweat running down my back and the sun begging for more. I push my hair back with paint-stained fingers. The end of summer brings exhaustion, anticipation and lots and lots of picking and painting. So much so that I am steamrolling. My little business is feeling like big business at the moment.
I think I can. I think I can.
It is just me and my own two hands, but I like it that way. I am gathering and organizing and will be tagging as soon as my cute tags come in. I have a full garage and need more paint. Moving slower this morning because there is so much to move through.
Kindergarten also happened. Big tears.
Love it all! You can do it! You can do it! Wish I lived close to Luckett’s!
Can’t wait to see your booth space at Lucketts, you are gonna knock um dead! Please take pictures of it for those if us that live far, far away!! Love your style!
I know you can…..i know you can! You go,girl!! Love all you do!
I’ve been following your blog for about 2 years now. Your work has inspired me and now I refinish furniture for a living. I so believe in beautifying what we already have rather than manufacture more inferior furniture. Reduce, Recycle, Reuse. But that’s not the reason I’m writing. I need cute little tags too as I am about to debut in my first public retail space too and I have very similar taste to you so would love to know where you ordered your tags? Were they designed especially for you? Can’t wait to see them 🙂
Best Wishes, Denise
I’m so excited for you to have your own shop at Luckett’s and I wish you all the best. Love your pieces. Now that your little one is in kindergarten it will be a good time.
So exciting, I’m very happy for you and know you can do it. I to wish I lived closer to Lucketts.
So happy for you! You seem so happy too! Best of Luck!
