as my mover, Donald, would say in an all-so-scruffy-not-necessarily-nice voice. Alas, he gets the job done.
Here’s what I have brought in this week to work on. I have about 7 new refinishing jobs for new/repeat clients and have also pulled some lovely pieces to work on & list.
Hello, legs! I love finding pieces with such character. Vanity/desk.
Awesome legs & curved shape. I’m going to keep the hardware as is on both these pieces. It is not too brasy & will add a cool contrast that works with the neutral chalk paint.
I’ve started her in Graphite, plan on keeping the hardware and adding a bit of gold leaf on the edges.
Love a double pedastal table. It’s going to look so different when it’s done! Bye, bye Poly!
These sweet chairs are from my own home & I’m NOT going to paint them. Sometimes I too can refrain and the wood is a great hue.
Oh, how I heart an old secretary. Check out the claws! This one also has a beautiful glass hutch.
Summertime & the livin’ is busy!
If interested in any of these, email cbensten@blueeggbrownnest.com & you choose color. I’m sorry I have to say, first pay first serve.

AHH!! I just love these new pieces!! That desk is to die for! I just picked up a similar double pedestal table with the brass on the feet as well. So beautiful, but I am too chicken to paint it so I’m excited to see the outcome of yours!! Just love your site and you have me HOOKED on Annie Sloan Chalk Paint:)

We can not wait to see these new pieces painted. I have the exact buffet and dinning room table with the matching china cabinet and I can not wait to see how it comes out after painted. Please post the after photos so I can see!

Hi!
What do you plan to do with the chairs if you are not going to paint them??
Thanks!
