I won’t say that this cart was the easiest item to retrieve from Etsy, but I got it in my head that I needed a bar cart. When I found out that a cute one could be around $1,000 I started checking out old industrial carts that I could paint.
Reminds me of those old carts in school that had the projector on them. Am I officially old that I watched slides from a projector? Yes.
I painted over the rust in white and rubbed it down. It was still too “metal” for me so I ordered these cool chicken wire baskets from William Sonoma. They were the prefect size for my dining needs. Including this oversized dinner bell.
I keep it in my dining room (that I really have never used for a meal) off to the side in case I need anything off it – like some resin antlers or a mason jar. ha.
And of course it’s on wheels so when my kids really, really need an activity then can push it around the kitchen hot on the dog’s tail.
Tomorrow is the last day to vote Blue Egg Brown Nest in the Vintage/Antiques category in the “Best of Arlington” Vote/Survey. You do not have to be an Arlington resident to vote. Thank you!
