I told you I was loving this boho, California, global vibe. Well, I decided to go ahead and update with a few of the ideas that I was seeing, including using black and brass. I didn’t want to spend a ton of money, but wanted to freshen up. Here is the look that I’m referring to.
It’s just a bit more ecelectic, non-symmetrical and uses more black. You still have your whites and browns and natural fibers. This above pictures is lovely, but I didn’t want to go that far. I think when you refresh you don’t want to make too many changes because for me, I won’t be able to refresh again for another 10 years!
I kept my basics and had fun with the accents.
I’m loving the light and the spring sun in this room! And watching Grace and Frankie on Netflix 🙂
I love what you did! I am always inspired by your decorating style. Thanks so much for sharing!
The upholstered chairs….I adore! I have been looking for something like that. Do you mind sharing where you found these?
Nice re-fresh, it’s lovely. I’ve come to adore your cats, I’ve actually come to expect a shot of them each post, they have quite the personalities:) thanks for sharing your talent with us. Would you ever consider doing a post on your dining room table (appears RH?) the brand, size, color, did you have to treat it, how well has it held up regarding stains? I’d love to learn more.
Lovely, refreshing and relaxing.
I love it. But I so loved your blue accents.
What IS that metal, slotted thing in the sixth photo down?? I just can’t make it out.
Your room looks great. Can you share the fabric name and color that you used for the chairs? Do you have a favorite upholstery person that you use? Thanks!
Hi Christen! Love your family room redo. You have such great taste.
Your curtains are from where? And how do you keep your cats off your curtains. I have a terrible time keeping mine from playing hide and seek in the curtains.
