Oh yes you can!
I have painted many lamps in the past so when a client brought me these awesome metal, garden angels I did not hesitate telling her that it would work.
It opens up a whole new world when you consider painting items like this throughout your home. Statues, lamps, frames, planters and other decor.
I used Old White and an edging Wooster brush for the cracks.
These guys will need maybe 2 coats and some touch ups. I will then show the client how they look with the deep brown color coming through. I like things to look older than they are so I will leave quite a bit.
Stay tuned.
Love it! I have painted lamps, frames and furniture using ASCP. Her paint is the best, have tried others, no comparison. Love your posts!
this is such a mind shift. I have always painted to cover every inch. But this idea of leaving the brown peek through adds so much more to the angel. Wow. Love it
I am never sure how much of the detail I should paint over, so I would love to see a finished picture of them.
Sorry to have to bother you, I know you are a busy lady. I have searched all over your site and cannot find the information I am looking for. I have three questions:
1. where did you purchase your formal dining room table and is it salvage brown?
2. where did you purchase your zebra ottoman?
3. where did you purchase your white tufted ottoman in your master bedroom?
Thanking you in advance!
Have a blessed day love!
