I had to share some of the very sweet treasures that I’ve found over the past few weeks during my travels.
The first is a real vintage beauty.
I’ve been looking for an old dress form for a while now. Although this one does not have that cool wire cage on the bottom half, it does have a sweet little black bow that makes it look Parisian. I chalk painted the base in a creamy color to soften it up.
Brent has already joked that there is another woman in our boudoir.
I also found a lovely painting with signature.
A colorful little city, I’d say. I also found 2 of these mustard colored upholstered seats. One was a sweet little match for this oil color.
The last treasure was a birthday gift for dear Meg. I think she was happy.
The gift was the scale, not the boy.
P.S. I had a great delivery yesterday including: a tall secretary, 4 dressers in various sizes, a high boy, 1 nightstand, 2 very large mirrors, one headboard, one full four poster. Keep an eye on the site for finished pieces! www.blueeggbrownnest.com
For all those new clients that I met this weekend – it was lovely chatting & knowing that my pieces are all going to wonderful homes! Thank you!
