Of course I’ll tell you! (Check out yesterday’s post about painting cabinets)
I wanted a white similar to what I have in my kitchen at home. We debated between three Benjamin Moore interior paints: Dove White, Simply White or Chantily Lace. I have used Dove White many, many times for rooms, including my master. This color is my favorite white, but it does off a bit of a subtle hue when next to trim. I wanted more of a white-white.
After looking up pictures and doing my resesarch, I chose the 2016 Color of the year, Simply White.
There are many sheens to choose from as well. We went with “Satin” and it is the perfect look of custom cabinets.
If you are thinking about doing your cabinets in a professional manner, I would highly recommend this color.

Nice choice. Did you paint the trim the same? I can’t wait to see what you’ve done at lake!
Thanks for sharing.

I noticed you did not paint the inside of the cabinets, are you happy with this decision once everything was finished?
Also did you pre sand the cabinets and use a primer prior to painting them white ?
I am debating on doing this myself, but have read many articles that state it is much harder and takes longer then planned.
I was not planning on doing the inside, only the outside of the cabinets.

Looks soooo great. Did you sand before? And after you painted did u apply a wax or top coat of some sort to seal it?
